As of the date above, celmorix.com does not use advertising, cross-site tracking, behavioural profiling or analytics cookies. The site uses three first-party browser-storage values for functional purposes. You can remove them through your browser at any time.
1. Overview and scope
This Cookie & Local Storage Policy explains how Celmorix Grand Promotions Inc. (“Celmorix,” “we,” “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar browser technologies on celmorix.com. It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which explains broader collection and handling of personal information.
This Policy applies to the giveaway home page, legal pages, entry form and other first-party pages hosted under celmorix.com. It does not control storage used by an external website reached through a link.
2. What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies
A cookie is a small text record that a website asks a browser to store and return with later requests. Cookies can maintain sessions, remember preferences, support security, measure traffic or enable advertising. Session cookies normally expire when the browser session ends; persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or manual deletion.
Local storage
localStorage is browser storage associated with a website. It is not automatically sent with every web request and normally remains until the user, browser or website removes it.
Session storage
sessionStorage is similar to local storage but is scoped to a browser tab or session. It is normally cleared when that tab or browsing session closes.
Other technologies
Web pixels, software development kits, device fingerprinting and similar tools can recognize or measure users in other ways. Celmorix does not currently use these technologies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
3. Current storage inventory
The following table describes the first-party browser-storage items created by the current website code.

The current Celmorix front end does not intentionally set a traditional HTTP cookie. A hosting or security provider may add strictly necessary security or load-balancing cookies if the production infrastructure requires them. If that occurs, this inventory will be updated to identify their provider, purpose and duration.
4. Why functional storage is used
We use the limited items above to provide features explicitly requested or reasonably expected by a visitor:
- display and remember the age-eligibility acknowledgement;
- keep the on-page participant indicator stable during a session;
- preserve the entry confirmation code on the submitting device;
- avoid asking for the same acknowledgement repeatedly; and
- support a consistent, accessible website experience.
These items are not used to build advertising audiences, track browsing on unrelated websites, infer interests, determine creditworthiness or make eligibility decisions.
5. Technologies we do not currently use
As of the “Last updated” date, Celmorix does not use:
- third-party advertising cookies;
- cross-site tracking pixels;
- retargeting or lookalike-audience tags;
- social-media tracking plug-ins;
- session-replay or keystroke-recording tools;
- precise geolocation storage;
- browser fingerprinting for commercial profiling; or
- analytics cookies that follow an identifiable visitor between sessions.
No cookie banner is currently required for optional tracking because optional tracking is not deployed. If a non-essential technology is introduced, we will update this Policy and provide any consent choice required by applicable law before activating it.
6. Browser storage versus server-side records
Clearing browser storage removes values from your device, but it does not automatically delete an entry already transmitted to send.php, an email previously sent to support or ordinary security records held on a server. Server-side information is governed by the Privacy Policy and its retention schedule.
Likewise, blocking browser storage does not prevent standard web requests from including information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser user-agent and timestamp. Servers typically require this information to deliver pages, diagnose failures and protect against misuse.
7. Third-party links and embedded content
The legal and responsible-play pages contain ordinary links to external Canadian authorities and support organizations. Following a link leaves celmorix.com; the destination may set its own cookies or use other technologies under its own policies.
We currently avoid embedded videos, social widgets, maps and advertising frames that would allow a third party to receive information merely because a Celmorix page loaded. If embedded content is introduced, we will assess whether it should remain blocked until the visitor makes an affirmative choice.
8. How to control or delete storage
Browser controls
Most browsers let you inspect, block or delete site data through privacy or site-settings menus. Search your browser’s help centre for “clear cookies and site data,” select celmorix.com, and remove the stored data. Private-browsing modes generally remove session data when all private windows close, but implementation differs by browser.
Effects of blocking
- The age panel may appear again because the acknowledgement cannot be remembered.
- The participant count may restart at its initial displayed value after a reload.
- Your local confirmation receipt may not be saved or may be deleted.
- The entry form itself can still be submitted if JavaScript and the form endpoint remain available.
Device-specific deletion
Storage is saved by the browser profile on a specific device. Removing it from one browser does not remove it from another browser or device. Celmorix cannot directly erase browser storage on a device it does not control.
9. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send Do Not Track (“DNT”) or Global Privacy Control (“GPC”) signals. Because Celmorix does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising and does not deploy advertising trackers, these signals do not change the site’s present tracking behaviour.
If future functionality falls within a legal requirement to recognize a browser privacy signal, we will evaluate and honour the signal as required and update this Policy accordingly.
10. Changes to this Policy or inventory
We may revise this Policy when site functionality, providers or legal requirements change. The updated page will show a new revision date. If a change introduces non-essential tracking or materially expands a purpose, we will provide a clear notice and any legally required consent controls before the technology operates.
You can compare the storage currently present in your browser’s developer or site-data tools with the inventory above. Please report an unexplained Celmorix storage item so we can investigate.
